Highly disappointed! Insane load times. Carts are difficult to control. I'm still waiting for my next race to load.

I bought this game in hopes to have something fun and exciting to play with my children since I'm usually playing one-player games like Battlefield 2. However, I was highly disappointed when I had to wait for the update to download, then install, then I had to wait for the game to install, then I had to wait for a race to load, etc. After what seemed like years later I finally got to play an extremely hard to control cart race.

Loading times are insane, the carts are hard to control, and you can't load other player profiles in the split-screen mode. I'm not even going to bother with the online mode. The customization and combat-cart racing is such a cool idea but the negatives about this game just kill anything positive about it. It's not worth the $60 price to tag to wait, and wait, and wait, and wait...

  Modnation Racers is full of customization and cool racing, though the load times and inconsistent AI are major letdowns.
