I read something interesting that this game originally came out as "Landlord's Game." It was supposed to be a critique against capitalism saying that the everyday person doesn't know what they are doing and the government needs to control the property. Whatever. The game itself is Monopoly. I have to disagree with all the critiques of the game that are out there. They say that the game takes away from the unique feel of a board game. That is dumb. How can a game control device give you the feel of a cardboard game board. It can't so why even bring that up as a means to dismiss the video game.
Here is what is really bad about this game. The computer controls who wins. One player lands on property all the time, while the other lands on chance or community chest mostly. The other thing is the fact that you can't shut the dude up. He says the same things all the time. Thats the only bad thing. I realllllllllllllllly want to shut him up, but you can't. Other than that, it is Monopoly. The game captures the board game. Its fun. Its a game you can play with your spouse.
