The game can be quite boring at the first few quests but when you start getting wyverns and elder dragons the game grows incredibly challenging and will need all the skills you have in this game. This game also shows that brute force does'nt mean glory, even if you have the most powerful of equipments,if you do not have skills and items, you can still be defeated. This game do not have "levels" as in other RPGs.You rely on your armour, weapons, items, knowledge and skills. Some times you will find out that you can't only rely on a single type of weapon and you have to change at times.Monsters prove more and more challenging as the game progress. However, there is a private kitchen that your felynes can cook up food that will increase your stats in the next quest. You can also mix materials to form your ammunition or potions. You also need to hunt your own materials to make more powerful items and weapons. There is also a certain skill needed for each weapon to release their full potential. The different skills and prowess of different weapons will definitely make you satisfied. There are minor comical scenes at time that will make you grin a little.Monsters also differ from each other greatly unlike most PSP games, their tactics, strengths, appearance, weaknesses are all significantly different. You can also create your own form of tactic, either stealthily placing a raw meat in the middle of a trap while hiding or simply running up to the enemy and knocking it out with a hammer. This is a long term game that can keep you satisfied for some time.
