I hate cat

User Rating: 9 | Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G PSP
I have been a monster hunter fan for 3 years already, and if there is one thing I know, this game got the best camera system ever, but still, I am going to do a full review first
-MHFU is an Updated version of MHF2, so I am going to do a review on the update only:
-Gameplay: MHFU had improved a lot in simplicity of menu and item browsing with loading speed by adding in an install feature, which is a nice move. As for the main gameplay, the game add extra maps, monster and weapons which bring the number of content of this game up to 25% more. But the most significant changes is the cat system
-Cat System: Lots of player had complained how ridiculously hard this game is without a partner, so Capcom, trying to solve the problem without breaking the balance of this game, threw in a "cat partner", and-they-sucked! (as least it is better than Phantasy Star where support character cause 1/5 the amount of average damages you caused, but still). The cat support, was the main source of the MHFU motto "in the world of Monster hunter, you are never alone" (because we just threw in a Cat for you) Well Capcom... YOU ARE NOT EVEN TRYING
-Cat Gameplay: Cat is a weak support character that can only do best in being a distraction for monster, sure, they can gather stuff, but usually 5 cents stuff that is not even worth using. The whole cat idea was just terrible due to their pathetic attack power with their delicious-sounding but terrible cat skill.
-The camera: GS, had been a "deek" about the camera issue for such a long time. Which got me to a point of thinking GS probably consist a bunch of amateur gamer who couldn't even get to 3 stars alone. As the camera in this game, is in fact, very easy to use since you-use the index finger to move the camera, not the thumb as the thumb is for movement. Try doing that GS and then stop "beetching" about the camera issue once and for all, it's not funny anymore, heck, it wasn't even funny in the first place.
-Story Line: one of the weakpoint of this game is the complete lack of story line. While it might be a smart move to have no story line so people can just play and kill monster for no sheer reason. BUT the lack of story line OFTEN discourage player who don't have a partner to think "why am I even trying, as there is no ending to these stuffs" So, please Capcom, just add a small goal into this game won't hurt.
So in the end, those are the pretty much main concerns for the MHFU update, and btw, hunting horn still suck
