Who wouldn't want to Slay monsters with their Friends?

User Rating: 10 | Monster Hunter Tri WII
When I first saw Monster Hunter Tri in a Nintendo power magazine, I thought it looked pretty cool, but I was still hesitant on buying it. Then I saw the video reviews for it and I was amazed by the gorgeous environments. The art of the landscape that you can travel is absolutely amazing (and even more amazing when hacked and you can see all views). However, I know that the graphics and art behind it don't make the game.
To go with your beautiful surroundings there are many monsters you can slaughter, either alone or with your friends. After I took some time to think, I realized how much time they spent on trying to make these monster react as realistically as possible. Who else but Capcom could create monsters that are more aggressive when they are enraged, breath heavily when they are tired, and run away when they are injured?
We have the beautiful landscape, and the ferocious monsters, but what monster hunter game would be complete without the abillity to create and upgrade your own weapons. With Seven weapons to chose from and a long list of different armor it could take months or even year to get them all (trust me I don't even have half yet). The weapons also differ to suit the styles of the players, whether you prefer to blaze through monsters or take your time breaking them down.
Whether you want to be the baddest dude on the planet and solo these monster, or just have fun with you friends taking them down, I would strongly advise anyone who enjoys massive online multiplayer games to get a copy. Even if you've never played an online muliplayer before, Monster Hunter Tri is a good place to start.
