You can tell when someone does not understand what kind game this is when they say things like 'the controls are sluggish'. One thing is certain weapons are supposed to be slow and sluggish. It's as though they expect a Greatsword to have seamless controls. Part of the game you need to know is that in order to enjoy it fully you need to get familiar with the weapon you are using to learn the ins and outs of it. Another thing that those of you thinking about buying this game is it does have a slow start. The beginning is the most annoying part due to being unable to get money and materials. The best comparison I can think of for this is a combination of many games. It has the grind of rpgs that make the moment you get that piece of armor it is much more satisfying. The next comparison is in some respects the gameplay is Zelda-esc. Another thing is that the game has the boss pattern recognition of old nes games. It also has similarities to Warning Forever in that you will almost constantly be fighting bosses. The only thing that I don't like is that this game compared to others in the series is very short but will still last you a long time.
All in all this game is great fun and succeeds in making each piece of hard earned equipment so satisfying especially when it is a part of a long planned custom armor set.
