It is funny! The aesthetics of the monster and all of the characters and the environment are cool.

Ok, this game takes you slowly by the hand from the beginning. It then lets you evolve as you continue playing and growing stronger. For an RPG, the story is simple and quite enjoyable, but it could have been better. There is no mixed plot and big climax.
The game focus more on the customization of your monster and the creation of the parts of it. It took me until the end of the game to fully understand all the way of creation (not that it is hard to understand, you can catch rapidly most of the system, but it is longer for the details). Sure you can create a lot of different arm, legs, body and head. But it brings more customization on the side of the appearance than the side of the function. Meaning, most of the arms will look different, but they do act likely.
It is fill with mini games that are entertaining even for the PS2 (I think it is more a Wii game than anything else).
The environment, background, characters and monsters fit perfectly well between them. The aesthetic is sharp.
The acting voices are funny to hear with the most funny accents if you're playing the game in english.
The combat is quite simple. It even gets annoying after a while.
There's a bit too much of loading.
