The start of my gaming, and a good start it was ^-^!

If you don't like it, and completely disagree with my review, you have that right, because I'm completely biased torwards this game, and I'll admit it. But for it's time, it was a good game. The sound was great, the music was catchy, and the story wasn't half bad. You're a small boy who's weapon is a baseball bat. And back in these days, blood was NOT something to be put in video games right.. well some of the backgrounds in this game are covered in them.. (don't expect it to pour out of your enemy though). Your basic gameplay it getting through a level, packed full of a wide array of monsters, but these are just cannon fodder. Your main objective is to kill off all the bosses of the level, then leave.. Heck, the first level you're in, your walkway is obstructed by a flailing pair of legs sticking up from the ground, which you must wack away. I didn't rate this game so highly just because I remember this game fondly as my first, but because it really is a great game. If you're an old-school gamer out to get the best NES and SNES games, this is a vidgame that MUST be in your collection (I think so anyway..). ^-^
