Rumor has it that the diarrhea you receive after drinking the water in Mexico is the result of a conquered leader, named Montezuma, exacting his revenge. That's what this game is named after. This game is actually pretty well done and prefessionally made. It's one of many platform games of the era, and it combines treasure hunting, several different rooms, and puzzle solving. You play as "Panama Joe", and you moe him from room to room in the underground maze of an Aztec emperor. The maze is filled with enemies and other dangers. The objective of the game is to score points by gathering jewels along the way through the level. Panama Joe must find keys to open doors, and use found equipment to complete puzzles. Doesn't sound that original, but the gameplay and atmosphere of the game is above par compared to many games of the same age. Despite the game's simplicity, it's very addictive.
