This is a great edition to the Mortal Kombat series.

This Mortal Kombat reboot is great. It has everything that you would expect from a Mortal Kombat game and more. It adds on to the already brutal nature of the games,by introducing you to x-ray moves. Which are pretty brutal. The content in this game is by far the most mature in the series. The fatalities are back and better than ever introducing some pretty sick new ways to finish your opponent. The combat system has been completely revamped from the previous games in the series. It focuses on making your own combos instead of the computer making it for you. The hits sound real and brutal and the ways you can use your characters special attacks blend in perfectly. The blood even has a more realistic approach by running off your opponent and going in different directions. There is also a visible damage system in this game where you can actually see the damage your dishing out to your opponent. Such as black eyes, bloody noses, torn clothing, ripped flesh, cuts and all. That makes it much more realistic than previous installments in the series. The story mode is actually one of the best I've seen in a fighting game. It provides reasons for some of the characters looking or acting the way they do. Such as explaining how Kabal got brutally burned and so forth. It ends with a bang and lets you know you will be hearing more from the Mortal Kombat franchise. The roster is very well balanced letting you choose from a number of great fighters.

The Good- Great visuals, Great voice acting,Great sound effects,Good story,Alot for your moneys worth,Great roster,Brutal,

The Bad- Some plot holes could have been stitched together better to give a greater understanding of the story.
