No other MK game to date has this much to offer.

Mortal Kombat: Armageddon offers much to any MK fan, and every gamer that likes 3-D fighting games will find this game very entertaining and fun to play. Although game focuses on multiplayer and 'versus' gameplay, it does include a full story for a conquest mode, where you will meet and learn about many characters that are featured in multiplayer. This game, like MK: Deception, features some mini-games (in this case a racing mini-game) and it still has the Crypt from which you get all the unlockables such as new costumes for fighters and character info. Game definitely does have some reply value, as it is unlikely that you will unlock everything the first time you play through 'conquest' mode. After spending about 50 hours playing the game, here are some good, as well as bad things I noticed about the game:

GOOD
-Every single fighter from MK universe is featured in this game
-No other MK game has more playable characters
-Racing mini-game
-Unlockable costumes to change appearance of the fighters
-Ability to create your own custom character, including custom fighting style and special moves
-Improved graphics
-Full-length conquest mode with a unique story
-Online multiplayer
-Air Combat

BAD
-Custom fatality system is the worst thing they ever came up with….
-Storyline of conquest mode lacks depth
-Some characters have very little history to them, feels like they came out of nowhere (Meat, for example)
-It's way too easy to fully unlock the crypt
-Mini game sucks compared to what MK:D had
-Unlockable info on arenas (unlike most of unlockable stuff) is generally boring
-AI is not challenging, even on highest difficulty

As a conclusion, I would say that although it's not a perfect game, Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is a really fun game that every fan of fighting games will enjoy!
