I am a really big MK fan, but I have to say that I am a little dissappointed in MKA. This game has a great concept, but there are a few things that don't live up to expectations.

I love the ability to be every MK character, and I even like how they limited everyone to one fighting style and a weapon, which makes it easier, and I doubt that I will ever run tired of arcade mode, but it is real obvious that they used the last MKD engine, because the graphics have not changed that much, despite the few new arenas ( a lot are from the last two games), the death's are the same 'ol same 'ol, but the air combat is a nice addition. As far as conquest goes, i like how they keep me interested with constantly allowing me to pick up money and unlock objects, costumes, and items and the addition of the freedom from MK SM is nice. i enjoy fighting the minions in freeplay, and a bonus is i don't have to go through a tutorial at the beginning, but there is almost no free roaming like in MK D (i.e. running around from temple to river to mountains, to building, and then going into a house and such all in that world), instead you are in a world and follow a direct path that is unwavering from start to temple, from temple to fight area, but that is all right, i enjoy the mini obstacles, (i.e. kill five guys in 30 secs, making it through Indiana Jones (MK style) obstacle course. I have found the create a fighter really ( and by really I mean extremely) in depth. You can not only creat a fighter based on very detailed looks and equipment, but also on fighting style. then within that style, you can alter moves. like square being a uppercut in Tae kwon do instead of a high kick in shaolin or something, then name it and every thing. I do believe it is fun, worth buying, but the conquest mode is minutely dissappointing and i was expecting more arenas and new graphics display.
