Not quite amazing, but not quite awful...just "meh"

i thought this game coulda been made better. sure theres a lot of characters but it all seems like a cheap gimmick into having you buy the game just for a nostalgic memory. (like youve never seen rain in a whihle, so you wanna see how he plays on a current gen MK game). The konquest mode is better thatn the last one, but thats not sayin much. To me the biggest let down of this game has to be the custom fatality system. my favorite memory of the MK games were beatin one of your friends, and then freezin them and break their frozen bodies into a million pieces of bloody bits, but now the new system takes the fun outta the fatalities. The new core gameplay is still good, and the +60 characters offer a good, but cheap gimmick. Bottemline, just rent the game adn forget about buying it. its jus not good enough for a $40 price tag.
