Midway may have made en error with this game. While the amount of characters are fun, for a while at least, it gets boring after a while. The new fatality system is fairly annoying, though ripping off both arms of your opponents is kinda neat. One thing that kept me hooked to MK all these years is the challenge of it, and this game lacks challenge. Once you figure out a short combo and a knock down move its pretty easy to win every fight. Unlocking all the extra characters is a bit on the annoying side but I guess to have a fun game these days you have to add Unlockables. The Kreate a fighter mode is pretty fun but you have to friggen unlock all the stuff to make a fighter look how you want. Though it was fun making the incredible hulk as an MK fighter. I feel this game could have been a ton better if it was less about unlocking stuff and more about playing the game to just have fun. Anyway, I wouldnt outright reccomend this game but it is worth picking up if you have the extra money laying around.
