User Rating: 7.8 | Mortal Kombat: Armageddon PS2
The game focused on having so many characters that it couldn't focus on improvement or depth. Minus the aerial combat this game makes little to no strives to improve its mechanics and gameplay. Essentially this is the exact same game we played last time. Minus fatalities, decent storyline and depth to each character. All the things that MK such a wonderful series have been compromised for raw content. The new mini game modes aren't nessecarily a superb alternative to Chess and Puzzle, but they certainly are fun.

Gameplay - 8
While aerial combat certainly adds a new layer of depth, for the most part the gameplay is just like deception. The Konquest mode is the greatest to ever be included in a mortal kombat game however.

Graphics - 7
Crisp animations and smooth framrates. However this area hasn't improved at all either.

Sound - 9
Solid sound effects as well as great voice acting. Something to be expected from mortal kombat. Overall - 7.8
Its certainly exciting to see the wide array of characters. However its bitterly dissapointing to see the final result. This game is the least polished mortal kombat game ever, and quite frankly the most disappointing one.
