Deadly alliance is a pretty fun game and is defineltely a great installment in the mortal kombat series. The ps2 controls suit the games combo system perfectly and the fatalities could not be much bloodier. Only one problem... KONQUEST MODE IS BOGUS. All it is is a super-elongated tutorial that forces you to nail 3 or more intricate combos in a short time to make a few kopper koins or whatever and move on. Thankfully it isn't necessary for any part of the game so you can just hang out and beat arcade mode a few times and buy out a whole Krypt full of old MK images, collectable photos, and classic MK characters. It's not as good as deception but its worth checking out if you're an MK fan.
