Not as good as previous games, although does have something to offer that others don't.

Amazing graphics once again and the classic arcade mode make this game at least a rental. With a bunch of new modes to play in, you can play chess, or you could play a tetris like game against the computer or you can even do the new konquest mode which is supposed to be some what of a role playing aspect of MK:D. The Konquest mode i find, is a waste of time. You play as Sujinko who starts off as a young kid who is offered to fight for the elder gods and in his journey, he learns fighting skills from various fighters such as sub-zero and Ermac. This to me is like a tutorial to learn all the special moves for different characters, theres no real action. Everytime you learn you run in to a actual character like Nightwolf, you end up spending 15 to 30 minutes learning how to punch, kick and do special moves for that charachter. The dialog is really bad. At one point, Sujinko encounters Beraka and he is challenged to fight. After he defeats beraka, he then propses to him to teach him the way beraka fights, and beraka aggrees!!!! like honeslty, in reality, if beraka had to will, he'd fight till he dies. he would willingly offer tips and tricks to strangers. In the end, the only good thing about this game is the arcade and versus mode, the two original modes. Chess is an alright and as is the other method of play, but i personally will not be keeping this game.
