Mortal Kombat Deception: Midway has come along way from the great games of yesterday, and Deception is not an exception!

First of all I would like to say that this review is a categorized review! Okay lets get started shall we? Game play: The game play in Mortal Kombat Deception is very compelling. There are altogether six great game modes to choose from. They are: Kombat, Chess Kombat, Puzzle Kombat, Konquest, Mortal Kombat Online, and the krypt. I will explain all the modes in greater detail. Kombat Mode: In Kombat mode you have three choices of things to do. You can jump right into the action and play as your favourite Mortal Kombat character in the arcade mode and try to beat all the challenges that you face. You will get rewarded if you beat all of them, and each character is different. The second thing you can do is the versus mode where you get to face off against your friends in a 2 player battle. The third and final thing you can do in arcade mode is practice. That pretty much speaks for itself in terms of what you have to do. Chess Kombat: In Chess Kombat you have the choice to play against the computer in a new chess style game. It also has support for 2 players. The idea of it is that you pick a team of 5 characters to be pieces to the game. You have to pick a Leader, champion, sorcerer, shifter, and a grunt. The game plays out just like chess and when two pieces meet they go into a classic versus Mortal Kombat battle and the loser gets their piece destroyed. Puzzle Kombat: In puzzle Kombat you get to pick a mini version of you favourite character to represent and each one has a different special move that will help you in the game. The games idea is to be sort of like Tetris and has you lining up colored blocks and when you destroy blocks they will rain down on your opponents side cause chaos! Konquest Mode: Konquest mode is very hard to explain. You get to take the role of a young boy named Shujinko and you grow, fight, and learn skills until he is an old man. I am not going to go into detail on this mode as it causes spoilers and we don't want that now do we? Mortal Kombat Online: The online play in Mortal Kombat Deception is a great mode that uses a pretty good server. The game unfortunately is not protected from cheaters and overall that just ruins the experience in a big way. The Krypt: In Mortal Kombat Deception you have to collect a currency that they call "Koins". Koins will allow you to go down into the krypt where you will get to use them to buy new content for the game. It always vary's on what you get. There are renders, videos, characters, arenas, pictures, and much more to unlock in the game. Make sure you visit the Krypt often to unlock new stuff. Graphics: At last we are at the graphics portion of the review. There great and that is about all I can say. _______________________________________________________________________- Sound: The sound in the game is pretty standard for a game of this day and age. Not much to say here. Value: The value of the game is with no doubt very high. There are many reasons to keep you coming back to the game and for sure fans of the series will be super impressed with how well the game plays for your money. Tilt: Ahh finally it's my turn to step in and say what I think about the game so here I go. "Great". And so there you have it. Mortal Kombat Deception! Go out and buy it, I guarantee it will Konsume you!
