It's a Good Addition to the Infamous Series

Another good Mortal Kombat game. This one differs little from deadly alliance but does offer enough new kontent (!) for it to be worthwhile. MK: Deception features a new type of konquest mode that is basically like an RPG set in the mortal kombat universe- this is very good because it could almost suffice as an actual game. This also offers new games unrelated to MK fighting, these are Puzzle Kombat, and Chess Kombat. Puzzle Kombat is like Tetris of some sort with little dudes fighting at the bottom of the screen. Chess Kombat is like classic chess, but whenever you attack, it goes into a mortal kombat showdown. There have also been a few new modifications to the classic fighting mode- there are now death traps that you can throw your opponent into to quickly finish them off, as well as weapons scattered throughout certain levels you can use against your enemy. Plus, you can punch an enemy through a wall or off a building to go to another arena to fight in. One of the biggest additions is the inclusion of a complete online multiplayer mode, this lets you play Puzzle Kombat, Chess Kombat, or Mortal Kombat online. The graphics are very close to that of deadly alliance as well as the sound. Overall, if you like fighting games that are not only fun, but violent and lasting- Mortal Kombat: Deception is a very good choice for you to get; even now it is still fun.
