I'll be honest with you. I do not like this game. The reason i own is because i bought it back in the day when game gear was still being supproted with new software and being taken to buy games was a rare occurance for me, so i treasured the ones i did get, even if they were crap. Also my copy of the game lo longer works so i cna't go back and play it, i'm writing this review based of the numerous hours i've spent playing and trouncing this game. Lets start with the Pros from what i remember. - The game looked relativly pretty for a game gear game. - It may have sounded nice, i cna't remember so i'm giving it the benifit of the doubt. - ... I guess thats about all i could remember. Either way graphics and sound are in no way vital components to a game. Cons - the game was broken, all you had to do was flying kicks and you won the game. You got some scrolling text message telling you of your characters fate after you kicked the crap out of Sho-Kahn. Then you had the dubious task of starting all over again. I beat the game numerous times with each character putting forth minimal effort, beat every hidden character in teh game (2 of them i think ... Jade and Smoke) and was left thinking "man, that sucked guess i'l lahve to do it again because it's better then world series baseball" I played and beat it on all difficulty levels and wasn't very impressed by the lack of difficulty, even on hard. Maybe i would hav ehad a better experience if i had somone to play against, but i didn't and my experience stands as i stated it. My final recomendation is to avoid this game, unless your a Mortal Kombat collector and want this title for the sake of fleshing out your collection.
