Mortal Kombat: Mythologies: Sub-Zero wasn't one of the best but, in my opinion it was no where near the worst (MK3 & MK:SF). Mr.Tobias and the producers of MK:M:Sub-Zero could have taken the Sub-Zero portion off and made other characters playable, like Scorpion, Quan Chi, or Shinnok. Or some of the original kombatants (I know it isn't realy spelled w/ a K), since this takes place before Mortal Kombat make an based off what happened to them before MK1. But no it's only Scorpion's counterpart, Sub-Zero and Scorpion makes few appearances. It's an alright game; some good boss battles, appearances by Scorpion and Rayden (or Raiden), an ok storyline. To me in some ways it's a Mortal Kombat wannabe and Sub-Zero defenitley wasn't the best character for MK:M, Scorpion and Sub-Zero maybe or if was based on all 7 orignal characters (including Reptile, Shang Tsung, and Goro).
