Easily one of the best action adventure games yet...

User Rating: 8.7 | Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks PS2
When i first heard about Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks, i felt it would be a bit repetitive but when i heard it was going to be another adventure game, only one thing was in my mind, Mythtologies : Sub Zero...i did'nt really want to get the game until i saw the score. it was quite highly rated! i couldnt believe this so i tried it for myself and this is the outcome :

Gameplay: The game plays out like no other Mortal Kombat does, with more than enough kombos and unlockables...The fatalities still have its natural feel, the decapitations and the body slices but this game invites a new kind of fatality and also revives an old one, the new one is a Multality, it is an awesome idea of executing fatalities on a large number of enemies but the game executes the Multalities quite badly, hopefully they will improve it to make it more stable :p. overall this game plays out very nicely...

Graphics: Bloody, and maniacal, the two main things that a mortal kombat game's graphics should be like...

Sound: The sound for the game is good and basic, nothing to deafening of too soft to hear...

Value: The game is very replayable, with all the secrets that can be unlocked, as well as more characters which makes players want to replay through the game and unlock their favourite characters...

Tilt: not much to say about tilt but that the camara angles are gggrreeeaaattt... (ripped off from kelloggs :P)

complaits? none too many, sometimes the ocassional glitch appears... and the combat is a tad too repititive...

Overall score? 8.7
