i don't know why but everytime i saw an ad about it or heard someone even mention it my mind suddenly went back to the old days when i like hundreds of other gamers out there took out my hard earned money to go out and buy specials forces. up till now i still haven't gotten over how stupid i was to ever buy a crummy game like that. i won't go any deeper but all and all special forces really affected my love for the mortal kombat franchise and even deception couldn't lift it up and so when i first heard of shaolin monks i frankly wasn't that enthusiastic. i thought it would be just like the others. how seriously wrong i was i wouldn't know till i finally got the courage and decided to get it.

now if i said this was a bad game and i hated it then i'd be a dirty liar. i never new those kombat boys could make an adventure fighting game so fun. i mean i knew it would be better than the others but i didn't know it would be that good.when i first got it and played the first stage i knew it was diffrent. i love everything about it from the sound to the scensries. the game is true to the kombat franchise. the only problems i had with it were the poor graphics and the bad storyline but besides that everything about it is a okay. personally my favourite player is kung lau and i think he's the best. what i specially loved about it was the ability to grab a bay and throw him into a catapult or into the spiked walls and i also thought the boss fight were cool. i especially love the fight with scorpion.what i truly loved about it was the vrs mode which i think was excellent

to end it all up it's a pretty good game and a must have for all kombat fans and anyone who loves a good fighting game
