This is definently the best Mortal Kombat game yet, considering that you r not stuck fighting just one person at a time
In all of the other games you have been constrained to a 1 vs 1 battle with another person or an npc. That changes with this game however. You are immersed in a world of action with multiple npc's simultaniously that sets this game apart from the others in the series, and this is saying a lot since I am not a fan of the other MK games.
Another great addition is death traps (not like the ones in deception where u had to push people in and then u go to a cut scene) in this u can throw people onto various things, such as spikes or a catapult and keep going to kill others.
The Fatalities in this game are rather simple to push in (4 buttons I believe) but are still gory enough
You are limited to 2 players/ characters to play with in the beggining, but this can be fixed with a simple cheat code( adding scorpion and subzero) but the two main characters are just fine..
Lastly, the 2 player campaign is a great add on and team work is a must to keep each other alive
Overall a very good game and I highlky recommend it (especailly if u have a friend to play it with)
