Multiplayer fun with respectable graphics.More 'arcade' than simulator.
The game had a strong following, and i liked it...but i wanted more 'timing' in the jumps. Most the time i was pinned, but some sections did require some skill with timing.Ya gotta go slo,to go fast once in awhile.
There's a 125,and 250 class. Some users in multiplayer claimed to be on 500s.These bikes were faster...i'm not sure if this class was legitimate. You could download a file that gave your bike extra HP...either it was acheat,or a class that existed in 'solo'.I dunno.
The game comes with a track editor, which is a welcome addition, and fun to mess with.
The sequel to this game had much better realism.MXM 2 was more of a sim with significantly better graphics...and it was far more challenging.SImulator junkies should pass on MXM,and get MXM2.
MX games are few,and far between on the PC.You might wanna give these a shot...especially the latter.
