Very fun game, worth buying (if you can find it)
Firstly I'm not an 4WD fan, never have been, never will be...well that's what I used to say.. until i played this game.
Driving around in a 4WD wherever you like in the game world is pure awesome. You can upgrade your cars wheels, engine mods, bull bars and things like that.
Your 4WD runs out of fuel, so you need to fill it up every so often and can even carry reserve jerry cans.
If you go a little crazy you can bang up your ride which needs to be fixed with that hard earned cash you win from races.
The game has various race types to keep you entertained but the real fun is when you have to drive up cliffs, withing a certain time to win, and that's where your choice of modes come into play.
You can select RWD, 4WD, lo/hi range, and lock the front and rear diff, make the wrong choice and you can end up at the bottom of the hill upside down, with a $6000 bill to repair your car.
All in all this is an addictive game, and I find myself just driving around looking for insane terrain to test my skills on.
If you can find a copy pick it up, and if not there is a demo out there which is not time limited, only contains 2 cars but both fully upgradable, and 1 race.
