I haven't checked out MTX Mototrax for the other platforms, but I really enjoyed playing this game for the PSP. Career mode was enjoyable as it sets you up for an inevitable showdown against Travis Pastrana and lets you unlock all sorts of gear from companies like Puma, Yamaha, and Suzuki. However, my only gripe was that the game's difficulty abruptly increased after the first few levels, so there were moments of frustration...especially in later levels where the AI seems to catch air almost too flawlessly. I blame the controls, I think I could've faired better if I had a real analog stick, but I feel the same way about other PSP games. FWIW, I used the directional pad...I thought the nub was too annoying. The game has a great freestyle mode which I thought was one of the best parts of the game. The soundtrack was great, (somewhat dated, but can't complain.) Definitely get this game if you're itching for some MX action on the PSP...and if you're cheap, it's only 30 bucks.
