I would like to have seen more of this game before writing anything about it but unfortunately it had other ideas, or at least the bugs, or one bug in particular had other ideas. The bug in question existing within the system for selecting and viewing the various small clues needed to advance. So, from what I was able to play here are a few thoughts. Graphics are nothing special with everything from character models and backdrops to lipsync stuck way back in 2005, which isn't a surprise as the game had to run on the old consoles and so had to work with almost ten year old hardware. It really is time to put those old machines out to pasture, at least from a game development stance. The fact that the game did have to work on the old consoles brings me nicely to my main gripe with the title, which is that it is openly a console product with yet another port to the PC that could have been done a lot better. Right from the get go almost you are faced with small, annoying console type tasks. Move your hand towards a doorknob or align your ghostly leg with the leg of your dying body, all using the WASD keys. It's maddening and reeks of a developer that knew there wasn't a great deal of meaningful gameplay to be had here and needed time wasters to drag it all out some more. Couple that with sluggish controls and a generic ( yawn ) story and you have a title that is shaping up to be all flash and no substance. But, as I said. I did not get to see much of the game due to the game breaking bug so it may get better as you go along, for me though, it's just another console port that is now gathering dust on the shelf of couldabeens.
