Yet another superb Action-RPG game done by Square.

It's not a sequel to our old favorite game 'Brave Fencer Musashi (PSOne)' although it has some similarities. Brave Fencer Musashi is a great game and Musashi: Samurai Legend is even better. This game is also similar to Kingdom Hearts although its story line is different. I find it worth the price and worth the time I spent on playing it. This game is one of the best games I've played. Gameplay: Killing enemies with a combo is always fun. The best thing is, you can copy an enemy's skill and use it against them. They also used a good style with the weapon equipment; 2 swords: 1 light (Katana) and 1 heavy (Great Oar and other Elemental Swords). There are also hidden skills that can only be used when you have an Elemental Sword. I find it great that you can switch back to your oldest sword and still have a powerful attack. You can also buy imagi cards from shops and see how much you can collect. This game has a great game play, no doubt about it. Graphics: The graphics in this game aren't the greatest compared to the graphics in FFXI although they wanted to do it in this style (manga-shading;cell-shading) for a reason and that's because they wanted to make it look like a manga-like video/game. I think the graphics turned out good even though sometimes you may find it crisped. The environment looks great as well it may not be cell-shaded but it's a good match-cell-shaded charactes and a 3d background always get gamers amazed. Sound: The sound and voice in this game are great. Voice casters have emotional voices into it and it sounds like they voiced it lively with spirit. The bgm also matches the theme whether a bad situation or good. Just like any other Square-Enix or Squaresoft games, the bgm were amazingly composed. Value: Whether fans call it a sequel to Brave Fencer Musashi or not, this game is still superb. Amazing game! Like I said, it is worth the time and worth the money. Great game for Action-RPG fans.
