Another reason to love mutants

This game can be described as "the Smash TV of dual analog shooters". And thats what most people say when they see me playing Mutant Storm Empire, an old arcade game redone for the Xbox Live Arcade and its never looked better than it does now.

On the positive side: Using the dual analog stick is still great and the presentation matches with the gameplay. And, all of the levels in the game seem to flow into each other and their are some sweet variety points for this game.

On the negative side: The multiplayer uses shared lives. Therefore, if one person in the co-op play dies, then the game is over, which is a real drag.

Verdict: With five (5!) difficulty levels and whether you are going in solo or with a friend, Empire is a well designed blast-a-thon.
