NCAA 2006 gives a new and fun feel to the MVP franchise...

User Rating: 8.3 | MVP 06 NCAA Baseball PS2
MVP NCAA 06 is a lot better then I expected it to be. I thought that EA would make a bad game with out the MLB license, but they still prevailed. The new Collage aspect makes it feel like your star players have to hit so many home runs, in this game it is about team work, and it adds a more fun aspect of the game. Now the game play is very fun. The new Load and Fire™ system adds a lot to the game play. It actually gets you into the game a lot mare and makes you feel like you are actually playing the game. Another thing that adds to the game play is the controls which has to do with the new Load and Fire™ system. The graphics are pretty good, but slightly under what you would expect from EA baseball game. I have to say there are physics in this game though. When a ball bounces in the dirt will jump up, it is a really cool feature. Also, for former MVP baseball game owners, the catcher actually through the ball back after the pitch, which is a first in MVP. Adding to that when there is a foul ball the umpire will through back the ball instead. Another thing that EA added was first and third base coaches. There are also hundred of animations in the game and you can customize your play like you never have seen before. The last thing I would like to point out is when a player strikes out there are a lot more animations that can get you laughing some times. Now on to the sound. The sound is very good and that sound of the ball hitting the metal bat just never gets old. The crowd is ok but could have been a lot better. The value is very high as in all MVP baseball games do to the 120 year Dynasty Mode. Over all this game surprised me, I never would have thought it would be as fun as it is. I would recommend this game to anyone who loves baseball
