Thank you EA. From a former collegiate baseball player I can say with confidence; the game is unique and above the rest

I can't believe its taken the gaming community this long to get a college baseball game. I guess its because I played college baseball that I find something so interesting to me somewhat undesireable to so many gamers. Although it did take me a week to find this game in retail stores: they were all sold out! I feel this has been a long time coming.

The game is submersive, complete, balanced, rewarding, and highly replayable. In the time I've owned the game I've created my college team, my own player, and the old park we bled and sweat on back in the day. I've bascially simmed and picked out certain games to play in Dynasty mode and I've surpassed six years. Dynasty mode itself is very addicting. Its like Baseball Stars all over again. I'm constantly looking for that next prospect and growing my staff to complement the talent I've acquired.

The Lock and Fire system is great. I feel just reward and just punishment for its abilities and drawbacks. Even if I have my number nine hitter in the lineup at bat, I still feel with some human element that I can get the job done. The mechanic really feels great.

The gameplay is basically the same great gameplay as last year's version. One exception to the fielding and throwing is the Precision Throwing mechanic. Again, this feels right, once you get the gist of it, and how well you play defense depends a lot on mastering this mechanic. In the end, it makes you feel like you have more control of good and bad throws. Very well done from my p-o-v.

All in all, this game is not MLB. It IS baseball. Better than that, it IS college baseball. The college baseball experience that has been missing. My hopes are that next year this title gets more features and they release a Little League Baseball experience.

GO Bears!
