First off a $29.99 you really can't go wrong, especially when EA's MVP mark is on the title. But this time out, it's not the steroid driven Major League Baseball, it's NCAA College Baseball. Finally someone has tapped the College ranks for a baseball game, and who better to do it than EA Sports. Nothing really innovative here as it looks and feels like last year's MVP 05. The one really cool feature is the load and fire system used on the right analog stick for hitting. It can be annoying at first, but once you get the hang of it the sounds of -PING!- take over and you're well on your way doing battle to make that coveted trip to Omaha that only 8 teams are lucky enough to make each year. One thing though EA, how about putting a little more time into creating exact Field/Stadium replicas next year? It gets pretty annoying having to pick a Field/Stadium to play on before every game. Other than that, this game is a gem, especially if you love College Baseball.
