Fun to play but could be better.

I have been waiting for a college baseball game to come out for a while. When 2K bought the MLB rights I was stoked because I figured that EA might go this route. Finally they have, and it is mediocre. Dont get me wrong I love the gameplay and can put up with the skipping and the little things. The Load and Fire hitting is really fun. It keeps the game good, instead of hitting A you actually have to think and hit. It takes a while to get used to and I don't think that I still have, but that is more like real life, and that to me makes the game worth playing right there.

The graphics are decent, and it's a baseball game so that really isn't that big of a deal. Sometimes you get a clean base hit, and it calls it an error, and there are other glitches. But, if you are a fan of college baseball it is fun to play and take your team to the College World Series.

I love this game but it could've been better. I wish they would've taken the time to do this. Companies today are so enamoured with getting their product out there and not worrying about the final presentation. You can't say that somebody for EA didn't test this game and see those glitches, and just chose to ignore them in order to get the game out there. My advice is that if you are not a College Baseball fan you should just rent first and decide for yourself. After all it is a steal for thirty dollars.
