User Rating: 9.2 | MVP Baseball 2004 XBOX
This is my first review at Gamespot. So I thought this would be a good game to start out with. Gameplay: Now MVP Baseball 2004 is a Great game but is missing one thing X-box live play. Without it the game is still really good and should keep busy for quite awhile. MVP is loaded with cool features that were mistakenly left out of the previous EA sports baseball games like warming up pitchers and other important features that I cant remember right now Sigh :(. My favorite new feature is that they have every AAA and AA team. Now playing as them isn’t that fun as the MLB teams but its cool to manage them and bring down and up players . Graphics: The graphics are amazing the faces on the players are dead on. The entrances and the swings are just like what that player would do in real life. Sound: The sound of the crowd is really nice there reaction is great. Hitting homeruns and striking out players gets your home field hyped up. But getting stuck out, errors or when the other team does something good it makes them boo or quiet down. As for the music it is decent no custom soundtracks but you really don’t hear it much except for the menu or when people come up to bat. Value: The game has decent value but like I said without X-box live after 2 games in a row it can get tiring . But for a game without it it does pretty well So overall I think this is a good game for anyone that likes baseball or even follows it alittle if u know baseball even alittle I recommend it.
