Similar to last year in quality, MVP Baseball 2005 is a great game, but with OLD rosters.

If you're going to advertise your upcoming sports title on your company's website, featuring three major trades/signings that occurred in the recent off-season, then why have it missing when the game launches? MVP Baseball 2005 is just as good as last year's addition, and while not much improved, it's just as fun to play. Quite possible the only blemish on the title is the lack of up-to-date rosters when the game launches. Not only that, but EA has always promised in past years to keep their rosters up-to-date frequently, yet NEVER has. As sports gamers looking for an accurate portrayal of the game, seeing Sammy Sosa still playing for the Cubs is anything but accurate. All I ask is that EA live up to their word and save the gamer HOURS upon HOURS of time shifting rosters around, especially at the trade deadline, when you need to move several 3-for-1 type deals. The problem is in the roster management system where you can't move 3 players for 1 when it could drop the one team's roster below 25 active players. I say, let the player figures that out themselves or just give us a roster update once a month! That's all I ask! Great game, but marred by old statistical data and a fussy roster management system.
