But as we all know, this seems to be the last in the series for now, isnt that nice. Until this game, I could always find something wrong with any console baseball game. Not this one however, it was all perfect!! The pitching/batting interface was perfect, the fielding was as tight as it could be, even the baserunning was easy to grasp.

Now, my favorite baseball franchise is the latest victim of EAs bid for world domination. Hopefully, take two interactive will deliver the cube a worthy baseball title this year since it is the only choice. EAs takeover of the NFL could be the beginning of a bad trend in gaming overall I feel. Now all sports publishers will compete for exclusive license deals and you know who will suffer this circumstance the most, GAMERS!!!!!!!!!!

If there is no competition then how much of a commitment to quality do you really think there will be. Every new sports game will merely be an update to rosters. All the new modes and innovations to gameplay and extras will disappear, as well as interest in these markets. It seems that in its greed, EA has lost sight of the big picture. They have abandoned thier commitment to advancing the cause of video game sports for the shallow pursuit of exclusivity. In the end it will only mean poor sports updates for us, the customer.

I know this has turned into more of a rant than a great memory, but what can I say, this issue offends me!!!!!!!
