A Great Game of Baseball

MVP Baseball 05 is a very well balanced and enjoyable game. The sounds of the crowd electrify as you hit a homerun, and the boo's when you're the slugger in the opposing team's home field. The game is very atmospheric with the crowd reactions and the stadium announcers add to the atmosphere of actually being in the game. The commentators however are very limited in their parts. After a few games you'll have heard everything at their arsenal of lines. The graphics in the game are very good, but at some spots they are very bland and unattractive. The stadium crowd looks terrible, but who plays a baseball to stare at the crowd. The animations are very well done, but there are a few animations that look choppy. The gameplay is top-notch, and the new features make the game that much more enjoyable. Even though I bought this game from the used bin at my local EB games, I would've payed the retail price when it was released. This is an awesome game that is definitely worth your money.
