Solid, just plain solid.

I can tell you that the combination of this game's ability to make baseball fun, the music, and the mini games, this game is definitely worth buying.

The game provides a season and a franchise mode. The season mode allows you to take a team through as many years as you can bear. Play the draft, manage your minor league teams, make major trades, and train your group during the offseason. Franchise mode is similar, but you also have to work on building your core group and your stadium. The money system is difficult to manage, but they meant well.

The mini games are just spectacular. The batting practice makes me think of pinball, or maybe a target shooting game. I could play that for hours and hours. The pitching game adds a little bit of a tetris feel to it. It also gets much harder as you play it longer.

The manager mode is interesting, but it is really just a way for you to kind of play your games without actualy having to spend a half hour playing them. The option to play that way from the main menu is a little pointless.

With the specials unlockables, the homerrun contest, and the ability to play as your favorite all-stars, this game is just a great buy.
