It really is great !!! I have only one complaint.... you are stuck playing 162 games per season, which of course is realistic, but it would be nice to have other options !! Oh well, beside that, this game has it all. You have control over everything on the field. The throw meters for pitching and fielding are second to none !! EA did it right on their baseball games !! And you end up with pretty realistic stats also. The game moves along at a decent pace, so chances are , if you love baseball, you wont get bored ! Graphics are overall, good. You will recognize most players by their faces. And the stadiums look well. The sounds are great also, except for the commentary, they are straight up boring. But you can always turn them off. Bottom line, this is a great baseball game. Id recomend this game. If i had to choose between this, or 2k, it would be a tough choice. But luckily I dont have to ! I would give this game a slight edge on 2k baseball . Its a shame all that licencing garbage had to happen because i would have loved for there to still be mvp MAJOR league baseball !!!!
