this really is an excellent baseball sim for the psp, however it is missing a lot. first of all, if you dug into any of the console versions you would feel right at home with MVP baseball. it plays a lot like the console versions and looks a lot like it too. it does however take major blows to the stomach because it is missing franchise mode, mini-games, and most importantly, the ability to manage games(damn). it does include home run showdown mode where contestents aim to get the most points before time runs out. it has a standard season mode and the ability to create a player. the game sounds great... sound effects and voice commentary make a smooth transcision from console to psp, you feel like your playing the console versions after a while of playing, it also has the same exact soundtrack as well. all in all its a great baseball game but needs more to be an excellent baseball game. already can't wait for 2012 when 2k's deal with MLBPA expires.
