One of the best motocross games out there. Too bad it isn't online.

I enjoyed this game very much. I bought it when it first came out and I was hooked. The excitement did wear off after a few days. The lack of online play kept this game from receiving a score in the 9's. I don't see how some people could rate this game a 9 or 10 and it doesn't have online play. I never did complete many of the races, as they didn't seem as appealing as the rest of the game. One nice but unrealistic part of the game was the fact you were never that far out of a race. Some racing games be it motocross or in cars, start to suck if you crash once and then you can never make up for it. It is hard to hold the lead through out the whole race. Even though you crash you can still regain the lead. The graphics look pretty cool and the sound is good. You can drive different vehicles but they aren't very fun since you really can't do any tricks in anything but the dirt bike. The amount of tricks you can perform is awesome you have a lot of control over what you can do. On the flip side it is still easy enough that if you have young children they can get the hang of it too. If you can find this game in the $20 to $30 range it would be a good buy. It also wouldn't be a bad rental too. You might find that everything you want to in it can be completed in a 5-day rental. Of course any fans of motocross this is a must buy. Like I said the biggest disappointment in this game is no online play. Just like Soul Calibur II. This game, just like SC II would have been truly awesome online.
