If you love this type of game then it's for you. Good SP, but bad MP.

MX vs. ATV Unleashed has a good name but with all the problems in the game it should have never been leashed unfinished. This is a Arcade Racing game with loads of stuff to do. The SP mode is either by MX or ATV. With 16 weeks of racing, one race a day. This will take about 10-15 hours to beat. After each race you can get new things unlocked like gear, new tracks and bikes. The SP is not that bad, but you might get tried of doing to same thing over and over. The races can be long at times too. The game engine runs good with little to none slow down. The bikes feel and act like they should. But sometimes the AI will make you think "how can a bike do that?" The Graphics are not setting a new ground for racing games today. But they do the job. The stages look good with nice background effects. But I think the bikes could have look a little better from the past games. The riders look to like stick figures, and they really don't move that much other then doing tricks. But the game gives you the feel of racing. The sound in the game is good. Nothing big here. The bikes all sound like they should. I wish they would have more sound effects. Because most people are playing from 3 person view, so you would we be hearing more sounds right? Maybe like dirt falling back to the ground or when a big crowd is yelling you should hear them? Little things but never the less the big thing that most people will love is the custom sound tracks. Helps the game out a lot. I don't want to hear the 10 tracks that come with the game over and over. That saved the sound dept. The Value of this game is what worries me. It has MP up to 6 people. But the online part of this game down right sucks. 1st thing. Trying to join a room takes 30 mins. You will get into a room then get kicked out. 2nd. when you get into a game the voice chat don't work. Sometimes it do sometimes it don’t. Then 3rd. When racing if there's a little bit of lag the Graphics for the other racers goes crazy. Makes this funny graphic effect that sucks. If a patch was to come out to fix the many problems on-line the value would be better. Not happy with the MP. Overall you really have to love this game to put up with it. If not it's going to be on the back banner. With a very bad MP and no replay value
