MX vs. ATV Unleashed takes a big step forward in motocross games, but the rest is pretty stupid.
During this game you will take part in four separate careers. There are two indoor and two outdoor careers one for MX bikes and one for ATVs. You can play through these a few times on different difficulty levels, which keeps you playing the game for a while. The game has great physics and most of the time they are pretty realistic. This game has one of the widest arrays of tricks of any motocross game. There are literally hundreds of tricks and variations that are possible. During careers and races you will receive credits, which you can use to buy things in the game. This is one coolest features of the game because it will give you huge control on how your rider and bike look. There are hundreds of bikes over the 50, 125, 250, and 500cc classes. There are the normal bikes such as Yamaha, and Honda, plus there are a few custom bikes the game has created. Then you can pick your gear, this game has a huge selection of all the real gear manufacturers. Thor, Fox, No Fear, Answer, Bell, Oakley, Alloy, and Alpinestars just to name a few. The areas are huge when you play free roam and waypoint races. Also the freestyle was done well with like 12 different areas to complete. MX vs. ATV Unleashed is a great game, but it would have been nice to have more of the emphasis on the actual motocross racing.
