Although edutainment is relativley new and can have ideas a plenty, it makes very little effort to bring new ideas
Good:
- You actually learn french.
- Great use of touch screen and mic.
Bad:
- system where you have to replay 6 minigames over and over
- only multicard play
With brain training games theres no doubt that there would be a language training game.Ubisoft have one called my french coacg.Unlike brasin training games it consists of mimigames whereby you learn new words. It works but not as a real course would be.Well......it does beat a 30 year old greasy teacher.
There is a score of 150 for you to reach everyday. Its a good idea to keep you going but only 1 minigames gives you 20 point max so all the minigames become repetitive eventually.
Theres also some recreational games but they just build upon the training games and earn you 0 points. One mini game in particular requires you to drag baloons with words to cactuses. It makes absolutley no sense as it is completely guessing.
Not a badly done game but with a bit more thought and common sense could have been done better.
