Family fun, smart challenges, with a whole lot of wiggles and giggles.
The graphics aren't the best eye candy, but if you're into the eye candy, then you probably aren't focused on family or children's games on the Wii. We all know My Sims Party graphics aren't meant to be hyped up in comparison to the graphics of multiplayer games, so let's be logical in that sense.
The basic game play is fairly easy. The movement aspects keep my kids pretty active and jumping or moving around with a bit of wrist action to boot. As a mother I enjoy seeing my children participate together and moving around in the process. My Sims Party will definitely keep the kids up and over, so to speak.
The small games require a multitude of involvements that a rather easy for the 1st grader on up, but learning the buttons and movements may take a few minutes for those less than saavy Wii tykes.
All in all, the game held my kids attention for a good hour when they had to take a break anyways. They continue to play it with enjoyment, even if they have played the games several times before.
