Like Animal Crossing with crappier graphics, uninteresting characters and less to do.
In AC there's always something to do, but just after 15 minutes into MySims, you've met all the people in town, planted flowers and delivered messages and you notice that you have no money to buy anything and nothing left to do. With the lack of activities, MySims gets boring really fast.
The tasks that are given to your character are ridiculously easy. I prefer easy and laid-back games, but the difficulty level in this game is aimed for toddlers. Only refreshing exception was the mini-games which I truly enjoyed. Sadly there was too few of them.
If you want to introduce your very young child to the virtual life gaming genre, this might be a very good game to start with.
For everyone over the age of 10 - save your money and buy Animal Crossing instead.
