I purchased the japanese import at one of my favorite game stores as soon as I saw it simply because I grew up with these games and have had countless hours of enjoyment on the arcade counterparts. Throughout the history of console gaming I have serched for a version with the same feel as the arcade classics. I am going to continue to look because this still is'nt it. The graphics are perfect but the feel is correct. A good example is Ms. Pac-man. While playing one must anticipate the turns, cut back and even perform 360's. This just can't be done on this collection. I think this could be a function of the psp but if thats the case then should'nt the console versions have the arcade feel? They don't. I have even tried with home arcade type sticks. Also included are galaga (needs a little fine tuning) galaxian, pac-man and rally-x. There are re-mixed versions for most games but they do not add alot. There is also the ability to send trial versions of the games to other psp's. I will purchase the american version also because there will be additional games including one of my all time favorites Mappy.
