For someone that is a veteran gamer like me (or people that can't get away from gaming like it was a drug), we all can appreciate this title. I didn't expect this one to be that good after playing all the newer games out there (and with the arrival of "next generation" machines), but for older games, I was surprised at how much fun they were even though they were extremely simple. This title comes with close to 30 titles on one game disc (you guessed it, all made by Namco) with perfect emulation from the originals (you can even turn the arcade test screens on).
This title reminded me of how good the old days of gaming was, with the first emergence of great gameplay, not knowing what lie ahead (these games are the real challenge; new games are too easy!).
I find this title to have tremendous replay value (back to the good old days where beating the high score was what it was all about).
This title won't be for alot of people. For those of us that was at least born around the first Nintendo days, seeing games like Pac-Man (the original and new versions are in this title) and Donkey Kong will love the feeling of getting back into 8-bit gameplay.
Everyone should at least rent this title to check it out (and newer gamers should get a history lesson of what older games were like).
