Even if you're skilled in magic you can't make this game very good.
What I like:
There's not much here. I liked the graphics, they consist of cut & paste paper style graphics and it uses photos of the actors' actual faces. It fits well with the ND theme. The music does also, it has that weird organ type music that was in the movie. There are a couple voiced lines taken directly from the movie, which is funny the first few times you hear them. But they are re-used throughout the entire game to the point where they're not funny any more. With 30 minigames, sure the developers hit with a few of them. The dancing ones were fun, but there's virtually no replay value since they're easy to master after one or two tries, and it's the same music. The "football throwing with uncle Rico" game was the only one I actually went back to after finishing the game, and even that I only did 2 extra times.
What I would change:
Just about everything. Like any licensed game, it feels rushed and thrown together, despite the fact that it came out so long after the movie. I didn't find any of the games particularly un-playable or broken, and for that the developers should be commended. But unfortunately, they almost all were not that fun anyway. Most only last a couple minutes, and that was enough time for me to have enough. The whole "mission" lasted only maybe 4 hours, and since most of the games aren't worth going back to, there's little replay value.
Bottom Line:
I found this game for $5 new, so with that in mind I can't say that the game wasn't worth it. But I wouldn't pay much more. Napoleon Dynamite fans will find some short-lived amusement with the one-liners, graphics, and events that tie in to the movie, but even fans will get a ton of enjoyment out of this. If you didn't like the movie, then there's absolutely no reason to play this game.
